Tips For Mentees

This is a structured & paired mentoring program :

Meeting topics (sessions) will be on your mentor's profile.
Only matched mentors and mentees can see each other.
You will reach out to meeting forms if you schedule a meeting.

Check your time zone on the "General Settings" page :

Your device time zone and your account time zone should be the same.

Program managers need to get information about your meetings in order to follow and develop your mentoring program.

For this reason, your program team kindly ask you to add all your mentoring meetings on the platform.

All mentors and mentees can be tracked easily with this software.

You will be able to follow all your mentoring activities using only one tool.

1- Complete your profile information.

2- Communicate with your mentor.

3- Schedule your meetings and fill out the meeting forms.

4- Give feedback to program management.

You can use the best way for the communication.
It's possible to send direct message on the platform.
Or you can take meeting notes.
We are sending your notes by email to your mentor.

Matching

Your admins pair mentors and mentees.

You don't need to do anything to get paired.

Please fill your user profile and keep it updated.

You admins may need your profile details.

Please check your homepage.

You will see your mentors in the "Matching" area

You may also go to the "Mentors" page to check your all mentors.

Please contact your program admins to get paired.

Your admins may need time or more details to complete the matching process.

Login Details

You can see the "Reset my password" section in the link provided for mentoring/coaching program (organization) management.

Your organization provides the login link.

Each platform has its own dedicated login link. To find out your login link, please contact your mentoring / coaching program manager.

Left Menu > Profile & Settings > Change Password & Email

Desktop :

Left Menu > Profile & Settings > Click on your name

Mobile :

Bottom Menu > Scroll down> Account ( Your Name)

Integrations

Calendar integrations are adding meetings to your calendars.
Zoom, Google Meet, Teams and Jitsi Meet integrations create video call links automatically.
You don't need a Jitsi Meet account to use this integration.

Left Menu > Profile & Settings > Calendar & Video Integrations

Mentees don't need to connect ZOOM accounts to join meetings!

You may connect your ZOOM account if your program allows mentees create meetings without time slots.

Connect your Zoom account
Select Zoom as location when you a creating a meeting without time slot.

Click the right menu. ( on the top bar )
Go to the account setting page.
Click on "Disconnect Zoom" button.
We delete your Zoom data from our servers if you disconnect your Zoom account.

Log in to your Zoom account and navigate to the Zoom App Marketplace
Click Manage > Installed Apps or search for the Mentornity app.
Click the Mentornity App
Click Uninstall

Scheduling

Please contact your mentor if you couldn't find any time slot to book.
Your mentor may also schedule a meeting without adding a time slot.

Book Time Slots of Your Mentor

Go to the homepage. You will see your mentor in the "Matching" area.
Click on your mentor's name. It brings to you to the mentor's profile.
Use "+Schedule" buttons of the sessions.

Or Schedule a meeting directly :

Pick a date and time
Define a meeting location. (Online or offline meeting)

IF YOUR PROGRAM ALLOWS MEETING CREATING FOR MENTEES WITHOUT TIME SLOTS!

Go to your mentor's profile page.
Click on a session.
You will see the time slots on the scheduling window.

Platform generates meeting pages if you book or schedule a meeting.
You can take meeting notes and join the video calls on the meeting pages.

You may find all your meetings on the homepage.
Click on a meeting card to reach out to the meeting page.

Your mentor defines the meeting method/location.
Your mentor can use our Zoom, Teams, Google Meet integration.
Your mentor may also use our Jitsi Meet integration.
You don't need to create an account on Jitsi Meet.
We will provide the Jitsi Meet links for free.
Please contact your mentor about the video call or in person meeting.

Go to the meeting page via the homepage or your mentor's profile page.

For past meetings --> Didn't it take place?

For upcoming meetings --> Cancel
